Professional Business BEC Vantage English exam course

This 30 hours course is intended to lift your language skills to a level where you are able to communicate with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that boosts confidence and allows stress free interaction with advanced speakers of English in a business environment.

At the end of the course you will e.g. be able to, clarify your point, to discuss options, recommend solutions, negotiate, chair a meeting, take minutes, explain your purpose, deliver a clear message, deal with questions and debate your viewpoint on business related issues and produce detailed, clear text on business related subjects.

To achieve these objectives, the lessons will include a diverse and stimulating range of activities and tasks covering the relevant grammar, vocabulary, listening techniques, speaking and writing skills. In order to achieve progress in this course you will need to complete approximately 2-3 hours of home study on the e-learning platform per week. This will reinforce and build on the work covered in class.

The Professional Business course is designed to follow a curriculum that will enable you to take (optionally) the Vantage Cambridge Business English Certificate.

Additional 6 hours of exam training for this certificate can be taken optionally.The Exam training package includes.

• Continuation of blended learning to practice writing, listening and reading papers on “360 English learning platform”
• one exam training session right after the last lesson of the standard programme
• one comeback day with exam training two weeks before the exam on which you will do a full paper including the speaking
