Dutch courses for Kids and Teens are usually organised as a private or small group course , arranged to suit the schedule and language learning needs of each child. Most of the time, it is only possible to arrange children’s lessons on a private, one-to-one basis. However, lessons can sometimes be shared between two (or more) children if:
- the children are the same age (or very close in age),
- the children have the same language level, and
- the children are available to take the lessons at the same time. In our experience, children’s schedules are usually quite busy and hard to coordinate between separate families, as well as the teacher’s schedule. However, it is sometimes possible.

Private Dutch for Kids & Teens
- Fun and meaningful lessons for children age 5 to 14 who wish to learn Dutch and communicate with confidence.
- This course involves specially-designed materials and activities, including songs, story-telling, and a variety of educational games.

We have experience with expatriate children who need to enter the Dutch school system and integrate in Dutch life. We help them build both their confidence and language skills.
If your children are not getting enough help at school, we can support them with focused, positive attention on exactly the skills they need to succeed. Our private/small group, 1:1 lessons help children achieve both short and long term academic goals.

Of course we hope you are happy with the lessons. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied after the first lesson, you can make use of our money back guarantee. We will refund you the full course fee (minus €15 administration fee).
Cancelation policy
Kickstart School uses a standard 24-hour rule. It is possible to cancel a lesson free of charge, provided this is done at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise the full lesson cost will be charged.
Rescheduling of classes cannot be done indefinitely. The total course length can never exceed 1.5 times the originally scheduled lesson length. Lessons that do not take place within this period will be cancelled.
