Then Kickstart School’s Inburgering Preparation Course is proven to get you results. The current Inburgering exam preparation courses are for the exam at an A2/A2+ level. Once the government releases information on the higher level exam we will start offering preparation courses for that level too.

Three steps are required for you to prepare for the Inburgering exam:
- A0-A1 Starterpack Dutch for Beginners Course
- A1-A2 Stepping Stone I Dutch Course
- A2+ Inburgering Dutch Exam Preparation
You must do Steps 1 and 2 in order to enrol in Step 3 (unless you already have an upper-elementary level).
The Inburgering exam consists of six parts: Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Knowledge of Dutch Society (KNM), and Orientation to the Dutch Labour Market (ONA).
Knowledge of Dutch Society (KNM) involves introducing you to the many ways in which Dutch society is organised, as well as exploring Dutch institutions, customs, and behaviour. The new examination requirement ‘Orientation to the Labour Market’ will also be covered.
Orientation to the Dutch Labour Market (ONA) has been incorporated into the exam since 1st January 2015. Preparation for this part of the exam consists of 90 minutes of private lessons in which the teacher provides feedback on the student’s portfolio and coaching for the ONA interview.

Course Content and Learning Goals - Inburgering Dutch Exam Preparation Course
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Communicate in simple sentences, using common conjunctions
- Speak easily about your routines, habits and hobbies
- Describe your friends and family using simple vocabulary (work, home etc.)
- Make suggestions or requests
- Describe medical complaints to a doctor
- Write a short story and describe the context in which that story takes place
- Write a simple email explaining a problem / complaining about something / making an appointment
- Fill in a form correctly
- Read a simple text and respond appropriately
- Listen to a simple spoken text and respond appropriately
- Reproduce the knowledge required for the KNM exam

Price
€440 for the 24-hour course, or €540 for the 24-hour course + ONA preparation (90 minutes of private lessons for €100) (excluding the book; including all other course materials).
