Would you like your child aged 5-10 to learn the Dutch language in a fun way in order to integrate better into the Dutch society, while having a great play time with other children? Then our Kickstart Dutch Kids Clubs in The Hague are exactly what you are looking for!
We offer two types of Kids Clubs:
- Immersion in Dutch
- Dutch Literacy
Our Kids Clubs are after-school activities which expose children to the Dutch language through play or through reading. We introduce new language structures and vocabulary based on a variety of themes, while doing some arts and crafts and through playing games.
All our after-school activities are geared at children attending the International, the British or the European School, who wish to practise a bit more outside the school environment.

Choose the right club for your child:
Immersion I & Immersion II in Dutch – a mix of fun, interactive learning activities, which will help your child feel at ease in the Dutch society.
There are two age options for the course:
- for children aged 5-6 who cannot read;
- for children aged 7-8 who can read in their own language.
Dutch Literacy I, Literacy II, Literacy III – designed for children who speak a fair amount of Dutch, easing children into reading and talking about what they read:
- for children aged 8+ starting to read;
- for children 8+ who already read a little and need extra practice.
If none of the currently offered Kids Clubs is a fit for your child, we can organize a private, 1:1 course for your child (or teenager). Individual courses afford more flexibility in terms of scheduling and exact course content.
Private Dutch for Kids
In addition to group lessons, we can also support your child with focused, positive attention on exactly the skills they need to succeed in the Dutch language. Our private/small group, 1:1 lessons help children achieve both short and long term academic goals.
