Semi - Intensive Dutch for beginners

My teacher was great. Very good at her job, very easy-going and understanding. I joined the course together with my flatmate, and in the beginning we were put in different classes, but it was more convenient to be in the same class. We asked about it and the administration were very cooperative.

I think it is a very good program, very well organised with very good materials as well. In my particular case I took the program before moving to NL and I think it would be more productive to take it once you are immersed in the Dutch culture. You also need to ensure that you have enough time for doing the homework and lesson preparation to take full advantage of the course.

In one month, I have picked up the essentials for the Dutch language, and can now confidently order items, request assistance, offer basic descriptions, express whether or not I like something, answer basic questions and make comparisons between people, objects, places and animals. 

Our teacher Mr. Maarten Smit was very capable, and I learned a lot under his guidance. The overall communication with Kickstart School was also excellent. I am very pleased with what I was able to learn in this amount of time.

I could use what I learned in the real Dutch environment. I think it's beneficial for me to have a head start in studying Dutch. And the teacher makes it easier to learn.
