How to Enter
Your reel can be anything you like. There is no wrong way to show your language skills! You can create your reel in Dutch or English, and here are some ideas to spark your creativity:
- Create an original reel in Dutch or English.
- Post your reel publicly on Instagram or Facebook.
- Tag @InstagramHandle and/or @FacebookHandle.
- Include the hashtag #Kickstart25Jubilee.
- Complete the official submission form before the deadline.
- Submit a copy of your video using the method provided in the submission form.
Before You Submit
- Your social media profile is public so we can view your reel.
- Your video includes spoken Dutch or English.
- Your reel is your own original work.
- You have completed all submission requirements.
Only fully completed entries will be eligible for prizes.
Prizes
Three winners will be selected.
1st Place – Most Popular Reel
Awarded to the reel with the highest number of likes at the close of the competition.
2nd Place – Most Creative Reel
Selected by the Kickstart team based on creativity, storytelling, originality, and overall execution.
3rd Place – Lucky Winner
Selected by random draw from all eligible entries.
The three winners will choose from the following prizes in order of placement:
- One free General Group Course at Kickstart School
- One Support Course Package, including: Bootcamp I and Bootcamp II, or One Conversation Course
- A package of two private lesson hours
The 1st place winner chooses first, the 2nd place winner chooses from the remaining prizes, and the 3rd place winner receives the final prize.
Competition Period
The competition opens on 1 March 2027 and closes on 2 April 2027 at 23:59 CET.
To be eligible, participants must post their reel and complete the official submission form before the closing date.
For the Most Popular Reel Award, likes will continue to be counted until 15 April 2027 at 23:59 CET, giving all eligible entries additional time to gain engagement.
The Creative Award and Lucky Draw Award will be selected from all eligible entries submitted before the competition deadline.
Winners will be announced April 16th 2027.
Winner Selection
Three winners will be selected:
Most Popular Reel Award – Awarded to the eligible reel with the highest number of likes at the end of the engagement period.
Creative Award – Selected by the Kickstart team based on creativity, storytelling, originality, and overall execution.
Lucky Draw Award – Selected at random from all eligible entries.
The decisions of the Kickstart team are final.
Terms & Conditions
- The competition is open to current and former Kickstart School students aged 18 years or older.
- Employees of Kickstart School and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Participants must meet the entry requirements specified for the individual competition.
Entries must:
- Be the participant’s own original work.
- Comply with the specific requirements of the relevant competition.
- Not contain offensive, discriminatory, illegal, or inappropriate content.
- Respect the privacy and rights of others.
Participants are responsible for obtaining permission from anyone featured in, mentioned in, or contributing to their submission.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Prizes may be transferred to a family member or friend with prior approval from Kickstart School.
- Unless otherwise stated, prizes must be used within 12 months of the competition closing date.
- Kickstart School reserves the right to substitute a prize with an alternative of equal value if necessary.
Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided in the submission form. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, Kickstart School reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Participants retain ownership of their submitted content.
By entering the competition, participants grant Kickstart School a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to share, repost, publish, and promote their submissions on Kickstart School’s website, social media channels, newsletters, and other marketing materials related to Kickstart School and its activities.
Any personal data collected during the competition will be used solely for administering the competition, communicating with participants, and awarding prizes, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
- Kickstart School reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- Kickstart School is not responsible for technical issues, delays, lost submissions, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control that may affect participation in the competition.
- This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media platform.
- By participating, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
