Workshop: AI in Language Learning

This summer we are returning with the second edition of our successful workshop on the use of AI tools in the learning process. In this practical workshop we will discover and explore some of the easy available tools, including hands-on practice. Every language learner is welcome to attend, but you will make the most of the workshop if you have a reasonable knowledge of English.

Some of the topics covered:

• how to incorporate AI tools in your learning routine;
• how to set goals in AI-assisted learning;
• how (and why) to balance the usage of AI tools and human interaction.

Jan Deknatel is an experienced speaker and expert in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). He lectures on AI at the Hogere Hotelschool The Hague and provides courses, presentations, and workshops for companies and organizations. With a background as a data scientist and 30 years of experience at Shell, he translates complex AI concepts into practical applications.
