After course I a, course I b prepares you further for the HSK1 exam, which you will be able to pass after this course.
You will continue to practise with the textbook and exam material in which reading, speaking and listening are discussed in detail. Some attention will also be paid to writing the basic characters. In addition, you will receive information about - mainly contemporary - Chinese culture.
You will have plenty of opportunity to train your listening skills in class, but especially on KickstartNet, our digital learning environment. The grammar in this course will be a bit more difficult and by expanding the vocabulary you will be able to have a longer conversation.
With the HSK1 diploma you can show that you have reached a first level, which helps in your contacts with Chinese business partners or while studying or working in China. It is not compulsory to take the exam, but practising for it is a very effective way to learn.
The language of instruction in the course is English, which makes this course suitable for both Dutch and Expats. Young adults are also more than welcome. In this course you will find the ideal combination of increasing your communication skills with targeted exam training.
