Would you like to follow a course aimed at being able to speak and read everyday Chinese?
If you are also interested in preparing for the HSK1 exam and in the getting to know the Chinese culture better, then this is the right course for you.
Erg goede ervaring met Shirley, goede lerares. Ik heb wel gemerkt dat bij Chinees het misschien goed zou zijn twee keer per week les te krijgen over hetzelfde hoofdstuk.
I really enjoyed the Chinese class at Kicstart. It was a nice group of students and a very nice teacher. This course teaches some basic Chinese sentences and teaches you some culture. It is a difficult language but it is fun to do :)
I followed the Chinese course. It was very good, it's like opening a door to another world. This beginners course has a good timing and you will learn a lot in each class, but your level after the lessons will depend on how much effort you put into it studying at home. I'm very happy to finally understand what Mandarin is about.
I have a nice interaction with other students and the teacher was able to instruct us accordingly.
Being the first Chinese class, I was very satisfied. The material and facilities were excellent, and the teacher was open to feedback and suggestions, adjusting the classes to attend our learning goals. The pace picked up along the course, which was an extra motivation to study at home (much needed) and to continue with the follow-up course. The course does not focus on writing, but characters are presented whenever you ask for. Highly recommended!
You will become acquainted with the 'pin yin' and the tonal system. Step by step you will also learn to write some of the most basic characters. You will increase your listening skills with a variety of practice material both in class and at home, using our online learning platform KickstartNet. Asking each other simple questions is part of the lesson routine.
With the help of HSK exam material you will improve your language skills, which will increase your chances of successfully working with Chinese partners or when planning to study or work in China. It is not compulsory to take the exam. The exercise material ensures that you actively use the language and that you achieve good results.
This course, which focuses on effective communication, is taught in English and is suitable for both Dutch and expats. Young adults also belong to our target group.
